General Assembly Bahrain Showcases the Future of Bahraini Tech Talent at GITEX Global 2025

General Assembly Bahrain,a leading provider of transformative tech and digital skills training, joins the Bahrain Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025, the region’s largest and most influential technology event. The pavilion, which was organized by Tamkeen (Labour Fund), served as a powerful platform, bringing together 14 innovative tech companies from the kingdom. GA’s participation highlights Bahrain’s growing influence as a regional tech talent hub and its role in equipping the Kingdom’s workforce with world-class digital skills. 

For the past 3 years, General Assembly Bahrain (GA) has been a driving force in the Kingdom’s digital transformation, equipping thousands of Bahrainis with the technical expertise and global mindset necessary to thrive in the modern economy. Since its kick-off in Bahrain, General Assembly Bahrain has trained over 2,000 Bahraini graduates and partnered with more than 300 organizations, achieving +75% positive outcomes rate. Impressively, out of which +36% of the graduates are career shifters who have successfully transitioned into the tech industry through GA’s immersive and outcome-driven learning models.

Each program is designed to address the needs of a rapidly evolving market, covering key disciplines such as Software Engineering, Data Science, UX Design, Data Analytics, and AI. Fully supported by Tamkeen, these programs enable GA Bahrain to actively contribute to Bahrain’s Vision 2030 by focusing on human capital development and economic diversification.

At GITEX, GA was proudly part of Bahrain’s Pavilion, showcasing the significant efforts and successful outcomes of their strategic partnership with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). This collaboration is dedicated to realizing the shared national vision of establishing Bahrain as the regional tech talent hub. GA highlighted the tangible success of their presence in Bahrain, demonstrating how GA’s high-quality programs serve as a trusted pipeline for globally competitive Bahraini talents. GA’s focus has always been connecting ambitious graduates directly to high-value opportunities within leading organizations in Bahrain and across the region, further solidifying the Kingdom’s position as a source of top-tier digital professionals.

As part of the Bahrain Pavilion activities, Ahlam Oun , GA Bahrain director led a speech titled “GA Bahrain: The Tech Talent Blueprint- Fueling Digital Growth and Innovation in Bahrain and the GCC.”
The session shedded light on GA Bahrain’s impact across multiple fronts. From training students and supporting startups to empowering full-time professionals and freelancers. The conversation explored how GA Bahrain’s graduates are not only transforming their own careers but also driving innovation within the organizations they join.
