General Assembly –Bahrain Academy announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tanami, a leading investment platform specializing in private markets. The MoU aims to establish a strategic partnership focused on developing Bahraini tech-talent, enhancing employment pathways, and aligning specialized education with industry needs, thereby supporting the growth of the Kingdom’s digital economy.

This partnership combines General Assembly’s expertise in developing qualified, job-ready technical cadres with Tanami’s commitment to recruiting, developing and supporting local talent. Both parties will work to provide graduates and professionals with more opportunities to gain the practical experience and skills necessary to succeed in cutting-edge technology fields.

Under the MoU, the two parties will collaborate on a range of joint initiatives and programs. These include supporting the employment of General Assembly graduates in fields such as software engineering, data analytics, and user experience design, besides exploring opportunities for collaboration on employee development programs, professional events, career fairs, knowledge-sharing sessions, and specialized workshops.

The partnership also extends to initiatives that combine education with practical application. These include user experience design projects that connect trainees with real-world business challenges, organizing hackathons, hosting speakers and experts, in addition to community and networking initiatives that foster interaction between technical talent and the private sector. This partnership builds upon existing collaboration, as several General Assembly alumni contribute to Tanami’s team, reflecting the importance of aligning technical training programs with the needs of this vital sector.
