Our partnership in Bahrain with Tamkeen
Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen) was established in 2006 and tasked with the responsibility of empowering Bahrainis to become employees of choice and enabling the private sector to become the key engine of economic growth, to serve the purpose of achieving sustainable economic development in Bahrain.
Tamkeen brings partners from the private sector together with other key government players within the Team Bahrain ecosystem to drive the vision for the Kingdom forward. We’re honored to be one of those partners and have enjoyed a positive—and impactful—partnership to date.
One of the biggest benefits of this partnership is that anyone 18 years and older who’s a Bahraini citizen is eligible for tuition fee support for any of our courses through GA and Tamkeen.
In Bahrain, our programs—tech bootcamps in software engineering, data, and UX design—have had a high positive outcome rate. To date, Bahraini talent have reported an 80% positive outcome rate for graduates within nine months after graduating, which includes job opportunities, freelance work, promotions, and starting a business.
Our outcomes are due in large part to our strategic partnerships with well-known organizations, including more than 80 Bahraini corporate partners. These positive outcomes demonstrate our ability to help Bahrainis—even those with no tech background—overcome challenges and secure or advance employment within the tech industry.
