Who is eligible to apply for these programs?
To be eligible for our GA programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Applicants must be Bahraini nationals.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required.
- Access to Resources: Applicants should have access to a laptop or similar device.
- Career Orientation: Applicants must demonstrate interest and alignment with the program’s career objectives.
Do I need to have a specific academic background to apply?
It depends on the program you’re applying to. If full-time or part-time, applicants generally need to have a high school degree. If career development, then you need to have one to two years of experience in the field you’re applying to.
Is there an age limit for applicants?
The minimum age eligible to join the program is 18 years.
Can non-Bahraini apply for the program?
Our programs in Bahrain are for nationals. If you’re not Bahraini you can apply to any of our other non-Bahrain programs offered globally.
How do I prove my Bahraini citizenship?
Applicants must provide a national identification card issued by the Kingdom of Bahrain as proof of citizenship.
Is there a specific level of English proficiency required?
Applicants should be able to demonstrate sufficient English language skills to participate actively in the GA program, engage with coursework, and interact with peers and instructors.
Are current university students eligible to apply for the scholarship programs?
Yes, current university students may be eligible to apply based on individual assessments and the specific requirements of each program. Applicants should review the eligibility criteria and course logistics and reach out to our Admissions team with any questions.
Is course attendance mandatory?
Yes, attendance is mandatory. Participants are expected to attend mandatory classes and other scheduled activities like career coaching sessions.
Can employed candidates join these programs?
Yes, employed candidates may apply to the programs. However, they must submit a formal letter from their employer confirming their ability to participate in the program during working hours.
Is transportation provided as part of the programs?
No, transportation isn’t provided as part of the programs. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the course premises and any other required locations.
Will I get a job after graduation?
We will support you in securing a job after graduation. Our career assistance extends up to nine months after your program completion. Throughout the program and even after, our career coaches will work closely with you to help you land the job you aspire to. This support will include building a strong CV, optimizing your LinkedIn profile, developing your personal brand, and sending your CV to our network of 80+ corporate partners. Our comprehensive career services are designed to ensure you have the tools and resources needed to transition smoothly into your desired role.
How much is the payment?
If you’re Bahraini and at least 18 years old, the program is fully supported by Tamkeen.
I took a course before with another provider and didn’t get a job. How is GA different?
Our programs teach real in-demand skills and are specifically designed to match the Bahraini job market requirement, making it easier for our graduates to find jobs.
Are these bootcamps for job seekers?
Our bootcamps are for everyone who wants to have a tech career or add a tech skill to their mix—including job seekers. We have different flexible bootcamp options that match individual needs, including part-time and full-time bootcamps.
